The Bike Wear House is owned and run by myself, Janette Hazlett

The shop opened at Clachan of Campsie, Lennoxtown in August 2006 supplying cycle clothing to local cyclists.

I always found it frustrating trying to buy my own cycle clothing as I could never find a big choice, especially in Womens clothing and finally everybody was fed up with me moaning so when one day I said ‘that’s it – I’m opening up my own shop doing ONLY cycling clothing’ I was told to be quiet and just DO IT !!!!

The shop has been very successful and my customers appreciate being able to try things on and to ‘feel the quality’ of the clothes they are buying. They also appreciate the amount of choice I offer as you can see by the number of brands I have ‘onboard’.

I hope you find what you are looking for on the website, I will be continually adding new stock and new brands as I discover new products which I think will appeal to the well dressed cyclists. If you cannot find something on the website please phone as I may have it in stock at the shop or can order it from the suppliers for you.

If you live locally or within cycling or driving distance away come and visit – see map – we have a fantastic café and famous wheelbuilder (Wheelcraft) as our neighbours and the surrounding area is beautiful. We are only a few miles from the new Carron Valley mountain bike tracks and on the outskirts of the Loch Lomond national park – not to mention the surrounding roads being great for cycling !

I always remember what one of the ‘old timers’ said to me about cycling when we were discussing my lack of fitness – ‘never mind – just remember though – if you can’t be good on the bike at least you can look the part’. I believe in this but would add ‘- and be comfortable’!!!!!!
